About the Database
The Turkish Society of Nephrology Glomerular Disease Study Group (TSN-GOLD) was established on 04.04.2008. The purpose of establishing our group is to reveal the demographic data and clinical features of glomerular diseases in Turkey and to provide new contributions to the literature on prognosis and treatment. TSN-GOLD first created the ‘Primary Glomerular Disease Database’ and as of May 2009, a total of 25 centers from all over Turkey started to enter the demographic features of their patients, primary glomerular disease specific diagnoses, biopsy findings, follow-up, treatment and clinical outcome data into this database system online. The first data was published in 2014 and the database was renewed in 2017 in light of current information.
As of 2024, the number of centers reached 85 and the number of patients whose data was entered reached 8619. TSN-GOLD continues its work with its increasing number of experienced centers and academicians and publishes new articles.
